Looking for awesome earbuds under $50? Look no further than this QCY showdown! I put the new Melobuds Pro to the test to see how they stack up against the popular HT05. Spoiler alert: it’s a close fight!

Design & Fit:

- HT05: Bulkier design, may not be ideal for extended use.
Sound Quality:
- Melobuds Pro: MAJOR upgrade! It has better ANC, transparency mode, LDAC support, multipoint, and more – all missing from the HT05.
Battery Life:
- Melobuds Pro: Up to 7.5 hours with ANC off, slightly less with features on.
- HT05: Similar battery life, but more affected by ANC.
Call Quality: ️
- Both perform well, Melobuds Pro may be slightly better at handling noise.
The Verdict?
The Melobuds Pro are the clear winner for features and overall performance. They’re stylish, comfortable, and pack a punch with ANC and LDAC. However, the HT05 may still be a good choice if you prefer a warmer sound and don’t need all the fancy features.
Here’s what could be better:
- Melobuds Pro: App design could be slicker, wear detection is a little sensitive. This feature is supposed to automatically pause music when you take the earbuds out and resume when you put them back in. However, it can sometimes be too sensitive, triggering pause when the earbuds are only slightly adjusted or when there’s a lot of background noise.
Overall:
Melobuds Pro are a BEAST for the price! Highly recommended for anyone looking for feature-packed earbuds that sound great.
